We start the day in Regina talking to Kimberly Fowler on the global Regina Morning show. So fun to be on TV. We celebrate with a great breakfast.
Then came the cycling. Unusually, we need to backtrack to complete mileage that we drove past yesterday.
It seems important to say from the start,
I love cycling. But, it seems, there are limits. I can cycle up hills without complaining, through the heat with no protest, and even though crowded city streets with spiritual calm. But headwinds are my scourge and this was a day for mighty headwinds. This was also our first full day on the Trans Canada highway, which is busy with traffic and typically less scenic, and a late start due to our morning activities, and a 2 hour drive, (we don’t get started until noon). So combined, this day was a sufferfest. Still, we don’t give up and complete the 140km route into Regina.
Tomorrow is another day, and we think we may have a different route option that will get us off the highway. Fingers crossed.

Hi, Guys! Now you know what all people of SK know – the Trans Canada doesn’t show off the nice parts of the province!
