Announcing
Spinning Wheels is pleased to announce our collaboration with Parkinson Canada. This year, we are the Pedaling for Parkinson's Spinning Wheels Tour. We will continue to raise funds from across the country and leave it in the communities we pass through to help support programs for people living with Parkinson's and their families. We will ride all ten provinces and visit three coasts, as we continue to meet people and raise awareness of Parkinson's, the benefits of exercise in alleviating symptoms and help build community. You are not alone.

In 2024 We Did It!
Saturday, Sept 28th the Spinning Wheels Relay came to an end. After cycling 10,000 kms across Canada – through all ten provinces plus the Yukon and North West Territories – cyclists who are living with Parkinson’s and their supporters ended their ride with a celebration!
Since July 27th, three teams have met with hundreds of people living with Parkinson’s across Canada. They have laughed, cried, and shared stories on how they live with their disease and embrace their diagnosis. The main objective of the ride is to physically show the benefits of exercise in alleviating and in some cases, reversing the symptoms of the disease. They have built a community of people and ultimately, shown others that they are not alone.
Thank you to one and all, it took a community behind us and around us. We look forward to sharing with you the memories we built together!
Our Commitment
A portion of the funds raised in each province will be dedicated to supporting partner charities within that province. These funds will assist in delivering programs and services to help Canadians living with Parkinson’s disease.
Spinning Wheels Podcast
We keep the conversation going with our podcast: Spinning Wheels, Parkinson’s Conversations with Jim Here.
Watch or listen as people share their experiences with PD. We talk to people diagnosed with PD, who work with PWP, and who are trying to medically help PWP. It’s a whole Parkinson’s scene we have going on! And we always figure out a way to see the positive while acknowledging the challenges.
We are just starting out and really want to provide a podcast that brings insight and positivity to PD. Please like, share, and comment (on what you like, what you think we could do differently or what you would like to see.
